Twins Update
It's been a crazy Christmas for us this year. We spent Christmas eve at my parents' house this year and had a great night although I started feeling kind of crappy by bedtime. I was able to sleep a few hours through the night but I woke up about every hour feeling like I was having indigestion. I woke Tyler up at about four and we finally decided to call the on call doctor and see what they thought we should do. She recommended we go to Mckay-Dee hospital because first it was closer to my parents and second because they don't take 32 week old twins at Logan Regional. (No one ever told me this till then). We were expecting the doctor to tell me to just relax and hopefully the contractions would go away, so I got pretty nervous when she told me this. Anyway we made it to the hospital and they did all sorts of tests and gave me all sorts of shots. (not fun) The doctor they assigned me to thought that the babies would most likely be born within 48 hours and he was just hoping they would be able to get the couple of shots I needed to help their lungs develop. Luckily though I was able to hold out for a few days and now I'm being watched in the postpartum area of the hospital which I'll most likely stay in till I have these little ones. I'm still getting contractions but they are giving me drugs to keep them at bay for as long as possible. Right now they are about ten minutes apart. I'm going to have the longest labor ever! I'm hoping I can last a couple more weeks for the sake of these little ones but I'm also going pretty insane in the four walls of this hospital room. We're just praying that they will be healthy and that my body can hang on for a little while longer to give them the best shot when they are born. Thanks for all the prayers and concern we've already received. We are lucky to have wonderful family and friends support right now!

Holy cow, what a crazy ride this has been for you guys! I'm glad you've been doing ok though and that they've been able to stay put for a bit longer than expected. They're just so anxious to meet you! :) Oohh...maybe you'll have the New Year's babies! Haha. Keep your head up and let us know if we can do anything to help. Good luck with things this week! Let me know how things go!
Oh man! That's crazy--definitely no fun being cooped up in the hospital, but hopefully they can keep those little tykes in there a little while longer!
Seriously, let me know if there's anything you need! We'll keep you in our prayers, & I'd love to come visit some time if you're accepting visitors :)
You and those little ones are in our prayers! Hang in there! I wish we would've known you were at McKay, we were just in Ogden this weekend and could've come visited you--and brought you a little something for those two babes! Thank goodness for modern medicine--and let us know seriously if there is anything you need! My mom works at McKay and could get you something! We love you guys!
So glad you are at McKay-Dee. I love that hospital and their NICU. It is the best place for you guys to be. You and the twins are in our prayers. We love you guys.
